Playtech BGT Sports to Launch BetTracker Mobile App

Playtech’s subsidiary BGT Sports, which was established last year after the takeover of Best Gaming Technology, revealed its willingness to launch its new BetTracker product.

The gaming software supplier division, which has been one of the leaders in retail technology in the gaming and betting industry, is currently focused on the release of the innovative mobile application which would provide the brand’s customers with the opportunity to place their sports bets in the betting outlets and then transfer them directly to their mobile phones.

The Managing Director of the PBS’s operations in the UK, Ireland and Australia John Pettit commented on the planned release of innovative product, describing the latter as a “revolutionary” product, which was aimed to providing a growth in the retail sector. In addition, the new BetTracker product of the brand is part of the company’s strategy to boost operator revenues and make the customers’ experience better.

By using the new mobile application, customers will be able to check the progress of their bets and also cash them out on the system. The latter is based on the same platform as the BGT terminals that are available in the bookmaker’s betting outlets on the territory of the UK and Ireland.

The new product of Playtech’s BGT Sports subsidiary would be available on both iOS and Android operating systems. The mobile application is primarily aimed at making the operations with sports bets easier, by providing players who do not have an online account with online account management. Such players would be able to scan a ticket to the BetTracker application and then monitor the progress of their bet, no matter of their location.

If they win, customers will be able to go to any of the retail outlets of the sports betting operator and receive their winnings in cash.

When talking about the new product, John Petit praised the BetTracker, saying that the mobile application solution cares for all types of customers, and explained that was the first time when the product was to bring the routine online technology into real estates. Mr. Pettit also said that PBS was still aimed at finding innovative solutions in the retail industry, so its entire team was impatient to see the official introduction of BetTracker.
